New Lights For Night Skiing

This summer ligths have been installed on the Beaver and Snowbound trails. The Onion Lake Ski Trails now have 5 km of lit trails for night skiing. Many thanks to many volunteers, local businesses and organizations that have assisted with this project.

The lights are now set to a timer located on the side ticket booth at the trail head. Once the timer is activated the lights will remain on for 2 hrs and can be reactivated for another two hours at any time. If the timer is activated before night fall the lights will automatically turn on as darkness falls. Regardless of the time left on the timmer the lights are inactive between 11:00pm and 6:00am.
